SOUL STARTER CHALLENGE:   Meat & 3 Sides.  Dividing into 2 teams of 4.  Create a smothered Pork Chops & 3 Sides:  Mac n' Cheese, Collard Greens & Potato Salad in 45 minutes.

COOK-OFF CHALLENGE:  Create an innovative dish with the ingredients that you were given & must be the star of your dish.  Team 2 will have 45 minutes & Team 1 will have 50 minutes.

SOUL STARTER CHALLENGE:  Assigned one of the cuts that is considered low on the hog in 45 minutes.  Create a Soulful and innovative dish with that cut.

SOUL - STARTER CHALLENGE:  Creole & Cajun Cooking.

- Dividing into 3 Teams of 2:  First Part:  tasting 6 diffrerent kinds of saucy hot wings, Second Part:  Create a Creole or Cajun appetizer in 30 minutes.

- TEAM 1:  Shac & Jamarius,  TEAM 2:  Fred & Razia,      TEAM 3:  Dorian & Chris.

- Only Team got 3 Right - get an advantage get to pick their chilies & for the rest of them.  They picked Habanero & Scotch Bonnet.

START OFF:  With a Jazz Singer & player, Acute Infections, playing while the Chef entered the kitchen.

SOUL STARTER CHALLENGE:  Each will take on a soul food brunch pairing to present to the judges in 45 minutes.

START OFF: The Chefs enter the kitchen to all the judges sitting at a celebration table.

FINAL COOK-OFF CHALLENGE: Prepare a four-course soul food feast for the judges.  First hour must have the First Course present to the judges & also, present your menu of your planned feast in 3 hours.

TWIST: Only 2 will have the chance to complete their meals.  Someone will be eliminated.

JUDGING:

- ELIMINATED: Dorian - ( I was surprised) The judges thought she went outside the box by cooking risotto.

NOW: Finish the meals -  Chris & Razia.
